What is the Dutch Open Series?
The Dutch Open Series is a large Magic: The Gathering tournament series focused on competitive tournaments in The Netherlands.

Rules Enforcement Level
The rules enforcement level for each event is competitive, meaning that players are expected to have a thorough understanding of their deck and the cards used by their opponents. Decklists will be required at these events.
Judge Application
If you are interested in serving as a judge at the Dutch Open Series, please apply through the JudgeApp.
Prizes
All prizes will be awarded in the form of Sealed Product and/or DoS tix, which can be traded for items at the Prize Wall. Tix are only valid during the weekend in which they were won.
Side Events
We will offer Draft and Commander on-demand side events throughout the weekend. If you are not participating in the main events, feel free to drop in for an 8-player event!
Buying/Selling Magic Cards
It is not permitted to buy or sell Magic cards in the event hall unless you are a registered vendor.
What to Bring
For the constructed main events, you should bring a deck with a minimum of 60 cards for the mainboard and 0-15 cards for the sideboard. The cards must be legal in the format you are playing. You can find a list of banned cards here. You will also need a pen and paper to keep track of life totals for all events, as well as a decklist for the constructed events.

Food and Drinks
The Fletcher Hotel Nieuwegein offers a variety of food and drinks on-site, including a restaurant. With the exception of a small bottle of water, bringing your own food and drinks to the event is not permitted.
Hotel Rooms
The Fletcher Hotel Nieuwegein has hotel rooms available, and if you are staying overnight, mentioning that you are attending the Dutch Open Series may result in a discount.
Parking
The hotel grounds offer ample parking at a maximum fee of 5 euros per day.
Public Transportation
The event location is easily accessible by public transportation. You can plan your trip at 9292OV.
Winning a Dutch Open Qualifier
If you win a Qualifier, you are entitled to a bye and free entry to an event of your choice during the weekend. If you have already purchased a ticket, we will reimburse you 400 DoS tix during the event. We will contact you to confirm your qualification.
Cancelled tickets can only be refunded up to 14 days before the next DOS weekend.
