We are just over a month out of the Dutch Open Series. Time for a quick update.

We have decided to keep the cap for the main event as is, to ensure a smooth tournament. So if you are currently on the wait list, unless people cancel, we apologize and hope to see you at one our next events.

Qualifier Events

You can still win a slot for one of the Open Events at one of our Qualifiers. We currently have 5 scheduled:
April 01 – Pauper – Labyrinth Tilburg
April 02 – Pioneer – Mox Spellen Heerhugowaard
April 08 – Legacy – Haarlem Magic Nights
April 09 – Pioneer – Hermelijn Aalst, BE
April 16 – Pioneer – Outpoet Heerlen

Commander

We have some great news for Commander players! We are excited to announce that we will be hosting two extra Commander side events during the Dutch Open Series, separate from the Open events. Each day, there will be 32 available slots. The tickets for these events will go live at 19:00 hours this Wednesday.
If you have already purchased a ticket for another event but would like to switch to the Commander event, don’t worry! Get your Commander ticket first, and afterwards send us an e-mail and we’ll refund your Open ticket. The people on the wait list will love you!

Player’s Championship

The Player’s Championship will return! The top players of the Dutch Open Series 2023 season will compete for grand prizes at the end of the season during the Dutch Open Series Player’s Championship. This end-of-year tournament will feature the best players of the 2023 season, with two more editions to come later this year.
To qualify, the easiest way is to win one of the Dutch Open Series tournaments. This will secure one of the first twelve slots for the tournament. The remaining twelve slots will be filled by players who have earned the most points during the Swiss portion of the Open series tournaments.

Next DOS

We are very happy and motivated by the great response from the community on the return of the Dutch Open Series! We are happy to announce that we are committing to three more tournaments. Rough planning is one in Q3 2023, one in Q4 2023 and the 2023 Player’s Championship combined with a DOS weekend in Q1 of 2024.
