Hello MTG Commander fanatics!
As we announced last weekend, we’re adding two exclusive 32 player commander tournament to our first DOS weekend!
Both Saturday April 29th and Sunday April 30th there will be a commander tournament starting at 12:00. Both tournaments will have four rounds followed by a winners table. This event is welcome to commander players of all different kind of experience/power levels, to encourage a good experience (we want everyone to have fun!) we’ll make sure that everyone wins awesome prizes (including an awesome DOS playmat by Leon Tukker), not just the best performing players.
There will be 60 minute round times, which should be plenty of time for everyone to finish their best-of-one commander match! We’ll follow the official Wizards banned and restricted list.
As we mentioned in our earlier announcement, if you want to join the commander event, but have already bought a ticket for one of the other tournaments, buy a commander ticket and send us an e-mail at magic@dutchopenseries.com to cancel your other ticket. We’re sure we can find someone on the waiting list to put this to good use!
