Hello players!

We are looking forward to the upcoming May edition of the Dutch Open Series and we hope to see you there!

We have enrolled all players to their MTGMelee tournaments. If you are not enrolled correctly, please contact us as soon as possible so we can fix the issue.

May 12 – 10:30 start – LORCANA – Constructed

We are playing at the Fletcher Hotel Nieuwegein. The venue is open for players from 09:30 hours!

AVAILABLE TICKETS
There are still tickets in stock for all tournaments. So if you are keen to play please sign-up and let us know! You can register online until 1 hour before the tournament start.

DECKLISTS
Note that the event is competitive, which means decklists are mandatory for the Dutch Open Series constructed tournaments. Please bring a PAPER A4 sized copy of your decklist. These decklists will be collected at the start of your tournament.

GET YOUR CARDS & SUPPLIES!
If you are still in need of supplies, we are welcoming a new on site vendor: Charly Traarbach from Harakesh will supply you with sleeves, cards and accessories! If you need anything specific please contact him via harakesh.com!

Note that the RCQ ticket will only be available for the Pioneer, Modern & Sealed event.
The LEM ticket will be provided for the Legacy event once the event reaches 100+ players.

Hello players!

We are only half a week out of our January Dutch Open Series edition. Time for a quick update.

We have enrolled all of our MAGIC players to their MtgMelee tournaments. If you are not enrolled correctly, please contact us as soon as possible so we can fix this issue.
All LORCANA players will be enrolled later this week.

We have seen a nice increase in the number of players over the past couple of weeks. This means we’ll be updating the prize structure accordingly!

Note that the event is competitive, which means decklists are mandatory for the Dutch Open Series constructed tournaments. Please bring a PAPER A4 sized copy of your decklist. These decklists will be collected at the start of your tournament. If you have a bye, please make sure that you have your decklist mailed to us at magic@dutchopenseries.com before the start of the tournament. We will NOT be collecting decklists via MtgMelee.
Player’s Championship players, please email in your decklists 24 hours before the start of your tournament.

Dutch Open Series – Lorcana
After a very successful first tournament at Spellenspektakel, we have decided to dip our toes into Disney Lorcana by Ravensburger a bit further!

Lorcana Chapter 2: Rise of the Floorborn Sealed (Sunday 17-12)
Start: 11:00
Doors open: 10:00
Costs: €50
Player cap: 64
Rounds: 6 + top 8 draft

Prizes: For every player, 1,5 booster packs will be added to the prize pool. Top 16 players will be eligible for booster prizes. Further prizes for the top 8 include 1-2 Disney 100 Gift Bundle, a Chapter 2 Trove, a Chapter 1 Gift Bundle. Several promo’s, including Musketeer Donald Duck and Gaston. Numerous pins (including the rare Maleficent Lorcana pin!)

Location: Near Mint Gaming Steenwijk, Oosterstraat 60, 8331 HG, Steenwijk.

Hello players!

We are just a week out of the Spellenspektakel Team Trios events!

Enrollment

First, we will enroll one person per team on MtgMelee. The person who we enrolled is the main registrant for the event. If you want someone else enrolled for your team, please let us know!

Entrance

For Tournaments at Spellenspektakel there will be a tournament entry gate. This gate will open at 09:00 for people that are registered to play the Magic and/or Lorcana events. Please make sure you are on time as we would like to start the tournaments on time.

Available tickets

We still have some availability on both the Team Limited and the Team Constructed events. The Lorcana Sealed has sold out. If you are looking to join please visit the Spellenspektakel site!

Constructed Decklists

For the constructed tournament we will require PAPER decklists. Player’s will be seated as follows:
Standard (A) – Pioneer (B) – Modern (C). Please use an a4 paper format. Thank you!

For Sealed we will require deck checklists which will be provided on site. If you have not played Team Sealed yet, you can find a run through of the deck building portion here:

Player’s Championship

We have a date for our Player’s Championship. It will be held on the Saturday of our next Dutch Open Weekend on January 13th 2024! We will try our best to update the standings ahead of the last tournament on Sunday.

We have enrolled all of our CONSTRUCTED players to their MtgMelee tournaments. If you are not enrolled correctly, please contact us as soon as possible so we can fix this issue.
All SEALED players will be enrolled to the Companion app later this week. If you want to be enrolled under a different email than you registered with, let us know!
